Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026
These terms govern your use of ManufacturedOn (the “Service”), provided by ManufacturedOn. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Each person using the Service needs their own login — shared logins undermine the audit trail and we may ask you to separate them.
2. Your data
You keep all rights to the data you upload to or create in the Service. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, back up and display that data in order to provide the Service to you. We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you put in — including having a lawful basis for any personal information about your own customers, staff or suppliers.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- store or distribute malware, or attempt to breach the Service's security;
- probe, load-test or scrape the Service without our written permission;
- resell or provide the Service to a third party as though it were your own; or
- send unsolicited bulk email through the Service.
4. Fees and payment
We do not publish a price list. Fees are agreed with you in writing before your subscription starts, based on what you need from the Service, and are billed in advance for the period agreed. Fees exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
You can change or cancel your subscription at any time; a reduction or cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the fees you have been quoted.
If an invoice remains unpaid we may suspend access after giving you notice and a reasonable opportunity to settle. We will not delete your data during a suspension for non-payment without telling you first.
5. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and to fix faults promptly, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where reasonably possible. Support is provided by email during South African business hours.
6. Your data on the way out
You can export your data at any time while your account is active — every list view in the product exports to CSV or Excel. If you close your account, you remain able to export for 30 days before we begin deletion, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that materially breaches these terms, giving notice and an opportunity to put things right where it is reasonable to do so. We may act immediately where the breach is causing harm to the Service or to other users.
8. Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our total aggregate liability arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies to you.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
